MELTY IDENTITY TERMS
These terms are kept narrow for v1. The account surface exists to access Melty-owned properties safely, not to create a public social network or broad user-generated platform.
Eligibility
Melty Identity v1 is intended for adults only.
Creating an account requires a self-attestation that the user is 18 years of age or older.
If that attestation is not accepted, account setup must stop.
Account scope
The account is limited to access, security, and privacy workflows unless a future feature explicitly expands it.
Closed alpha and beta testing signup requests are interest requests, not guaranteed access to a project build.
Public profile pages and searchable user directories are out of scope for v1.
Melty may keep signup dark-launched, invite-only, or closed until an account-backed feature is ready.
Security expectations
Email and password are the baseline sign-in method in this release.
Authenticator-app MFA is optional and can be enabled from account security.
Passkeys are out of scope for this release.
Termination and deletion
Users can initiate export and deletion from the privacy surface.
Deleting an account removes app-owned data in scope and requests provider-side deletion for the identity record.
Melty may restrict or remove accounts used to bypass security controls or expose private systems.
